The individual championships followed on Tuesday and Wednesday with players alternating courses.  Outstanding rounds of 72 and 73 gave Samantha Foley(Royal Pines) an unassailable lead and the 2011 champion finished 19 strokes ahead of Josie Ryan from Headland.  Margaret Richards from City Toowoomba was the 36 Hole Nett Winner.

Cheryl Francis from City Tba club was 36 Hole Gross Runner Up in Bronze I Div II with Aliecia Freeman 36 Hole Nett winner and Jenny Bradford third on a countback.  Judy Williams, a newcomer to golf, also from City was runner up in Bronze II division stableford event.

Other good performances during the individual event came from Bindi Bridle, Merryl McCarthy, Weisia Nuttall & Jeni Shaw from Toowoomba.  Jane Lindenberg (Tba) took home a nearest the pin prize.  

Both Tewantin Noosa and Mt Coolum hosted a fantastic few days and thanks to all the volunteers for the hours of work put in to the event.

In 2014, Toowoomba and City Golf Clubs are looking forward to hosting the event again.

Sitting stoically on the banks of the brimming Balonne River the St George Golf Club provided a perfect backdrop to a flurry of pink in March this year as 54 ladies gathered for the Particularly Pink Golf Day.
Now in its seventh year, the hit and giggle Ambrose competition teams golfers with enthusiastic non-golfers.
Warwick Golf Club Professional, Rob McConnell, who has taught at St Andrews in Scotland, faced a very big challenge when he tried to create order with free lessons for all the women prior to the game.
His mantra was to stick to the basics.  “If you have your grip, stance, posture and alignment right, the swing will follow and you will have consistent results week in and week out.”
The lesson was well taught but the St George fairways still echoed with laughter and shrieks of “fore” as the non-golfers demolished the nine holes and raced back to a lavish lunch at the Club House where almost $3,000 was raised for the McGrath Foundation.
The Ambrose competition was won by sister-in-laws Fran, Paula & Kerry Hetherington.  Runners up were Virginia Jamieson, Chrissie Hill and Mary McIntyre.  The Don Bradman Award for a cricket score effort went to Ella Hall, Shirley Southern and Jane Corbett.  The Nearest the Pin on number 17 for a golfer was won by Lola Cuffe and for a non-golfer by Sally Rigney.
