| Around 40 golfers from the district arrived in Inglewood to play the first district event of the year. The teams event, unfortunately, was shortened to 9holes due to incessant showers. However, that did not dampen the chatter in the club house during a very enjoyable lunch provided by the host club. The event was won by Pittsworth club, with Inglewood runners up.
