| Toowoomba Golf Club ladies and their visitors were very obvious on the course on 18th October when 65 players had lots of fun buying putts & shots over the dam. Pink string was sold as a fundraiser and used to get the players out of trouble on the course. So when buying a shot over the dam & then using your string to put the ball in the hole, you could have a "0" and score 6 or 7 points, depending on your handicap!! With 3 scores to count in each team, the winners score was almost 200!! The day was once again sponsored by Curves Fitness, Toowoomba. Over $1100 was raised to assist both Breast Cancer Research & local support groups. |  |
