St George has been through 3 floods in as many years and over the past 2yrs the golf course has suffered immensely. Last August St George golf course had been restored to a good playing condition for the Downs and South Western Ladies Golf Championhips. However in February again the flooding consumed the golf course causing more damage than previously, especially to the club house facilities.
Once again the determination of the people in the west has seen the course return to a state that the members can enjoy.
